Full-Stack E-commerce Platform for an Organic Baby Skincare Brand A custom Laravel-built e-commerce platform for Bloom & Bare, combining a warm, editorial storefront design with a fully functional backend: product management, cart, and integrated payment processing.
The challenge
Bloom & Bare needed more than a template storefront as an organic baby skincare brand; trust and product transparency are everything, but they also needed real backend infrastructure to actually run the business: managing inventory, processing orders, and accepting payments securely, without relying on a page-builder plugin stack that limits control as the catalog grows.
The approach
We built a fully custom platform on Laravel, combining a robust backend with a warm, nature-inspired storefront design. At the core is a custom Laravel backend with full CRUD functionality for managing products, categories, and orders, paired with an integrated payment gateway for secure, seamless checkout. The storefront itself was designed around soft, botanical visuals, organic shapes, and sage and cream tones that reflect the brand's "pure care" positioning, with age-stage product filtering (Newborn, Baby, Toddler, Family) to help parents find the right formula for their child's stage. Product pages highlight full ingredient transparency, showcasing natural components like Chamomile, Calendula, and Shea Butter alongside sourcing details customers can trust. A responsive "Add to Basket" cart system with live updates carries shoppers smoothly from browsing to checkout, and the entire experience was built to be fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile. The full platform was designed, developed, and deployed in 23 days.
